Resin lining method

Air-blown method

Safe and speedy method using epoxy resin. An innovative rebirth method for water-supply pipes, drainpipes and industrial pipes carried out by spaying epoxy resin using dry compressor air.
 

Pig method

A steel or cast iron pipe lining method used for water pipes, industrial water pipes, seawater intaking pipes, and sewage pipes. Securing of the inlet and outlet is the only condition required for an installation over long distances of pipes of the same diameter, irrespective of their shapes and sizes.

The air-blown method has the following features:

 

Enables water supply to be started within a day

Allows installation of various types of pipes including bent, S-type and T-type pipes. Provides the same water supply capability as new pipes. Provides excellent adherence and water resistance in ultrasafe conditions.

Safe and speedy method using epoxy resin.

Cleaning process
Sprays polishing material (sand) at high speed using the compressed air method or the vacuum method to remove rust or water stains. Repeats surface treatment inside the pipe until sufficient adhesion with lining material is obtained.
Lining process
As is the case with sand cleaning, the lining process uses compressed air or the ultra vacuum method to supply quick-hardening epoxy resin evenly on the inner surface of the pipe by intaking the resin from one end of the piping. The thickness of lining determines the viscosity and delivery of epoxy resin.

The pig method has the following features:

 

High anti-corrosion properties

Uses vinyl ester flake resin as the primary material, providing excellent anti-corrosion characteristics and durability.

Ensured for drinking water

The method can be used for drinking water by using epoxy flake resin that complies with JWWA-K-135, the standard defined by the Japan Water Works Association.

Enables short-term installation

Because the method enables installation over long distances only by securing an inlet and an outlet, installation can be completed within a short time frame.

Suitable for the lining of a long, winding and complex pipe path

Enables high-quality lining by using various types of pigs according to the application based on the lining process after the cleaning and drying processes have been carried out.
